Director on his debut Siddharth has made a movie with highest optimism. Well you can make people laugh showing funny moments, I guess the characters in those moments need to click and more importantly more apt. The director has left the most important part of the movie (genre) making the audience confused. I wonder is that a spoof or a masala movie. I guess this is just not both and falls way below.
Pandiyan (Vishnu) as a hero has no role to play, astonishgly. Pia as Vaishanavi does not offer anything and Vivek comedy score is adulterated and preachy. Villains and other character do not fit into the film, and the casting has a thumb down. Music is ok, even if the music at the back ground score is good, you cannot notice it because of the awful screenplay. It is better that Devan Ekambaram debuting as music director sticks to singing, expect his “Happy..” with all leading singers is an different effort. Gibran as the villain looks fit and fine. But he is shown very idiotic, for example he kidnaps the heroine and gives her the mobile. It’s just a shame for a villain who cannot be traced and has his eyebrows shaved.
The plot for the movies is Pandiyan a born unlucky guy gets to a astrologer, funny enough that the astrologer dies while writing his horoscope. He wants to die, and try for suicide, and then he meets AKP, and with some illogical sequences, AKP works out a deal with him that he has to die on a given day giving him a credit card wherein he can buy things for 25 lakhs INR…. Rest of the movie is how he meets Vaishnavi, and how he gets going against all odds… I cannot write a review more than this for an off the shelf ridiculous movie…
Guys I took my wife for a movie (After her pregnancy and stuff) after a year or so for this on her Bday… So have to rate this bad movie really horrible….
