Inidhu Inidhu produced by Prakash Raj and directed by cinematographer KV Ghan is an remake of successful Telugu movie Happy Days. Remaking gets you to high risk category because you tend to compare that with the original one, this did not help this movie which lacked nativity. Well to that movie is monotonous and long. Film looks fresh however with its technicalities. Music from Meyer works well, that’s the only plus for this ordinary movie.
A group of freshers- Siddhu (Adith), Aravind alias Tyson (Narayanan), Vimal (Vimal), Shankar (Shravan), Madhu (Reshmi), Aparna aka Appu and Jiya join an upmarket college in Chennai. They are ragged by the seniors at the college which make them instantly bond. The college is made to look like a upmarkt shopping mall. The film shows the life of rich people that how they enjoy their studies and wear branded clothes eat burgers in college canteen and ride bikes. At the college their seniors ragged them and as a result they come more close to each other and make an instant bond. Rest of the film covers the love of four couples that how they get close and their love bond become story during the four year course.
The bottom line is that Inidhu Inidhu does not bring you the old memories and there is no connection. It would have been better if Guhan had settle with cinematography rather than jumping to direction.
